Lovella Farms

‘Lovella Farms’ strawberry packaging serves as a convenient solution that is made entirely of paperboard, it is lightweight, durable and more importantly, easily recyclable by flattening out into a thin sheet. After working at a supermarket in the fresh produce department, I have come across a variety of perishable items which could be more sustainably packaged. Naturally, as a design student, ideas flourish into mind of how their packaging may be improved. Indeed, I have seen the way some fruit and vegetable packing has evolved to be more eco-friendly, but one in particular still needs improving. That is, strawberry packaging. This was submitted to Better With Less competition with the design category “2 - Zero Waste Experience”.
